Story of a fashion entrepreneur

I was reading about the story of Mandy Farrow, who founded Eris Apparel after going through a breast reduction from a G to a B cup. Mandy had an interesting story of how she founded Eris. As a wife and mother of two, Mandy was delighted with her transformation and regained her self image of looking good in her petite size 6 frame.
Yet, this new look helped her realised that there was a ‘gap’ in the fashion apparel market to cater to average sized women with butsy figures, which then led to a new business idea and start-up.
During the initial setup of her new business, Mandy was working 5 days in her regular job as a Director of Training and Education in a dental laboratory while mothering 2 toddlers. Looking back, it was a challenging phase but with the help of her supportive husband, Eris was successfully launched after 8 months.
Today, Mandy continues to add and develop more styles and colours to the butsy lady’s wardrobe while ensuring a superior customer service experience. It is admirable of her to spot a niche in the untapped market and took on the courage to delve into the fashion industry which she has no experience in.
