What is YOUR Blogging Goal?
Most of us enter this exciting world of blogging for some reason, at some point of our lives and are motivated by some events that took place. As much as blogging is a personal space each of us speaks our minds and thoughts, share our experiences and ideas, I wonder if everyone has a blogging goal.
To be honest with you, I have not thought about this deep and long enough until I come across Liz’s inspiring post about her father and how it relates to her blogging goal. I do not have a story like Liz who tells about how her father has made a difference in people’s lives while running a redneck saloon, but it does bring a time of reflection of what my blogging goal is.
I’m someone who thrives on my passions and interests in life. That’s explains the topics of all four of my blogs. H.O.W. is my space to bring stories and people together with the desire to inspire, encourage and uplift all women. I work from home and love to talk about who else does that and I enjoy learning more about other women’s work-at-home stories and experience.
I am a fan of anything organic and natural. In case you think I’m fit and healthy as my blog topics depict, I’m actually not. My health blog motivates me to walk the road of optimal health and it’s an ongoing pursuit for me on a daily basis. I started a shopping blog to unleash my passions, temptations and sinful indulgences in fashion and beauty. It’s my way to exude the pleasure of being a woman.
Lastly, I first entered into blogging when Clayton was born in 2004 but I was one of those internet dummies who had not idea how to make a post or create a link. So I gave up. Then I gave it another go when our family took a vacation to New Zealand where I used the blog to document our travel stories and discoveries. Now, that is my personal space of mishmash thoughts, opinions and stories – like a virtual diary.
So, coming back to my blogging goal/s: My goal is to build a platform of learning and sharing with all whom I meet in life – offline and online. I enjoy being inspired and long to be an inspiration to people I know, I meet and will be meeting. Simplistic it may sound but I’m a straight-forward person who speaks from my heart and one of those WYSIWYG kind. I also hope to own one of those badges in Liz’s S-O-B one day.
