This is an eventful week. Middle of the week, we (DH and me) received news that two of our speakers for our upcoming Internet Money Secrets seminar had cancelled their attendance to the event. This news sent us to shock and disappointment. We couldn't help but felt upset as this cancellation changed our entire plan for the year, and affected our marketing, advertising, partnership and promotion plans.
I begin to ponder about professionalism and integrity, how it relates to each other and how one cannot do without the other. Somehow, my respect for the speakers' professionalism and achievement had been downgraded because of an integrity issue here. For the 5 years in the seminar business, this was the first cancellation we had received.
Then, I am reminded that life circumstances are meant to shape and mold us, to develop within us a character, to challenge new possibilities and give birth to new beginnings.
We know that when God closes a door, He opens a window. Putting that behind us, we move forward to new opportunities awaiting us.
