Protecting our internet communications

Posted on March 20, 2007 by dc

Not long ago, my company received a notice from my webhost that our company was ‘blacklisted’ for sending out spams. Apparently, someone had lodged a complaint on us to the spam authority and an investigation was followed.

We justified our position and maintained our innocence by submitting to the relevant authority that all our outgoing mails were only sent to our subscribers and that we had fulfilled email compliance and guidelines. After some stringent reviews and investigation had we been cleared by such allegations.

From this incident, we began to realize that a platform to ensure content security for our outgoing emails and attachments is important to meet regulatory requirements and protect our company’s credibility. In this day and age, the growing number of hackers and spammers can threaten our internet communications security and thus, a need for a reliable security provider such as BorderWare is necessary to protect companies of any size from such threats.
