How do you protect your data?
One of the most valuable ‘asset’ in our business is the amount of data stored in our labtops in our home office. It sounds a little crazy but in the last 5 years, both husband and I have accumulated 4 laptops - 1 Twinhead, 1 IBM, 1 iBook and my latest, MacBookPro.
We are always frantic during those ‘thunder and lightning’ seasons as it is common to get a sudden power failure in where we live. Several incidents had occurred where our fax machine, our cordless phone, our modem and our laptops had been damaged by lightning. Two years ago, both of laptops had lost all our data due to that. Since then, we are careful to ensure a regular backup of our data to prevent any sudden occurrences.
A long term solution would be to protect our data through a reliable data storage solution such as IBackup Online Backup. IBackup supports various platforms and applications and with Windows, backup can be restored interactively or you can schedule it online for Windows Desktops, Laptops and Servers. It looks user-friendly from my review and most importantly, it also supports Mac platform via the iDrive, which is ideal for me!
The price plans available is dependent on the storage space and backup options you require, that means you can choose a package that best suits your needs.
