Doris, What a great site for WAH women! I'll be sure and link you on my blog. I love 5 Minutes for Mom, even though I'm just a WAH woman that never had the privilege of raising any children.I was laid off of my customer service job after 12-1/2 years in November; and at 58 years (young) and with multiple chemical sensitivities, I really wanted to find a job working from home. Initially my husband taught me basic computer skills (at work I only had a monitor!). He was so patient and supportive. Now, I'm reading everything I can on blogging (websites, Dummies books, and
blogger 'helpers' online) to learn. It's been so exciting! I feel 20 years younger. Truly when God closes a door, he opens a window. Again, thanks, for the great resources all of you! Pam

Hi Pam, good to have you here. Thanks for sharing and I'm encouraged and inspired by your desire to learn and grow. You are so right... when God closes a door, He opens a window... that is so so true.

how inspiring and fun - great photos (great juggling) and all a circle of family love... wow. Our neighbors here in Sausalito share work and family - and shopping duties sometime. So helpful. I am a former WSJ reporter.. another is an architect, a retired FBI agent and so on...

Other times we turn to a job referral community here called LaborFair.com in the S.F. bay area, knowing we can find reputable, nearyb help fast and, at the same time, help the ones we hire move up the economic ladder... it is another form of mommy sisterhood methinks
