Installing a security system

At some point, DH and myself have been discussing about installing security systems in our home office. It has always been our concern when we are outstationed from time to time and it is not feasible to carry our laptops with us during those travel times.
What we need is a wireless or portable security system that is user-friendly with all round the clock 24/7 monitoring. What I like about The LaserShield security system is the ability to arm and disalarm with the convenience of a keychain remote. This would be useful to keep it handy in our home office or in the room, we just need to keep it away from Clayton or the panic button will be ringing too often!
