Last week, I came across 2 nice articles that offered some useful tips and insights for those of us who work from home and constantly have to learn how to balance between work and family life. While I still find it a challenge establishing this balance, I am glad to learn and share stories with other work at home entrepreneurs.
What I find important is to establish boundaries with my 2.5 year old and explain to him what is acceptable and what is not, rather than 'telling' him off or giving him a bunch of "no's". I actually see the difference in his responses and he tends to listen attentively when told about why he isn't allowed to play with our stationery, labtops or files.
Char shares 5 tips for working from home with kids and Tony tells his personal experience as a home-based entrepreneur while balancing work and family. If you have any personal tip or experience to share, drop me a note here.
