A conversation on bullet proof doors
I was in a gathering with a few friends and there was a subject on installing bullet proof steel doors in some multinational companies these days due to security reasons. In the conversation, my girlfriend was recalling an incident where gun shots were heard from a next door neighbour’s office one night. Apparently, few armed men robbed the office of the safe and all the expensive computer equipment during a long holiday weekend.
Since that incident, her company was sourcing for bullet proof doors to increase security and protection of the office’s assets. This was when I began to realize that security measures cannot be taken too lightly these days. Though I didn’t have to face issues like my friend does on a daily basis, I still need to ensure safety precautions while working in my home office.
