Can Someone Help Me??

I cannot emphasize how important it is to get a GOOD and RELIABLE hosting company.

When I first purchased my own domain which is currently used for my Organics and Your Health blog, I parked it with a free hosting service offered to me during an internet marketing seminar. Due to my lack of knowledge then, I took up the offer, thinking that it was free and so why not?

One year had passed since I parked dorischua.com with that hosting company and one day, I had a moment of shock when that domain was ‘blacklisted’. I was worried, anxious, confused, lost and frantic. I had spent lots of time and effort on that blog and I was worried that all the data would be gone. I thought it might be the job of spammers!

Then I found out that the people who offered this to me for FREE had not paid their subscription to the hosting company so all domains parked in that dedicated server were blocked, including a bugatti dealer friend of mine. Finally, I got them to settle their payment and my site was restored within a short while.

Thus, my FIRST, MOST IMPORTANT lesson in internet marketing: Get a GOOD and RELIABLE hosting company. It’s worth every cent and it will save you from sleepless nights, worries and shock.

I am now in the process of moving my data out of the current hosting company. Does anyone know where I can get help for this? I am retaining the URL (domain) but would like to move to HOSTGATOR… who should I seek help to get this done? Currently, I am using HOSTGATOR for my 2 other blogs. I would appreciate if anyone can give me advice on this.
