I had a nice conversation with DH on our way to a meeting this morning. We were talking about the differences between online and offline networking, and how the first is superior the latter. Here's what we agree on:
• Online networking is 24/7 whereas you can only network offline during office hours, generally speaking (let's exclude the night entertainment bit)
• Online networking is global and is borderless whereas offline networking requires your physical presence
• Online networking allows you to meet multiple contacts at any one time whereas offline has limitations
• With Online networking, you can be in your PJ whereas offline requires you to dress up smartly
What other advantages can you think of? Please feel free to add to this list...
