Last friday, DH and myself had a meeting with a couple of business associates from Singapore who were here to explore the possibility of a joint venture with us for the Singapore market.
From the good meeting we had, I recalled how we first began our seminar business in 2003. We were financially broke and had to take a loan to pay the deposit of our speaker's fees. At that time, DH had looked into a couple of other options such as taking personal loans or a secure loans from the banks. Finally, we got an overdraft to get us started and looking back, we were thankful that the event, which was a huge success delivered us from all our financial obligations.
Looking forward, we are counting our blessings everyday with the excitement of entering a new business venture in Singapore in the next few months.
