Are you into online banking?

Posted on April 25, 2007 by dc

I’m just curious how many of you bloggers or home office women do your banking online. For the last many years, I have opted to do my banking online for its sheer convenience, especially when I am living overseas. Prior to moving to Malaysia, I had linked my credit card accounts with my savings accounts and current accounts in order for me to pay payment via online transfer.

At the start of my online banking experience, I was concerned about the security and protection of my personal details. But all these years, I have never had any problems with data security which explains why I remain a loyal online banking consumer. Perhaps, banks should consider waiving off certain bank charges since online banking is becoming a common fashion.
Lately, many of the banks have launched a one-time PIN security device that requires activation before an online transaction. The one-time PIN introduction ensures that the PIN access is regularly changed and helps to curb any fraud and tighten security protection for all online banking transactions.

With the privilege of working from home, online banking becomes an added advantage, which in turn increases my personal productivity? Do you do your banking online?
