How do you manage your employees?

In my earlier post, I mentioned that we have newly employed a staff to be part of our team. Come next week, we will be inviting another two persons to join us on another project. With a few staff in our payroll from now on, we need to consider a reliable and efficient employee evaluation software to help us manage, evaluate and track their performance. Being a small business owner, we need something that is easy to use, effective and most importantly, one that offers goal setting solutions. If anyone has an experience to share in this aspect, I'll be pleased to know.
