My blogging buddy, Char also writes a parenting blog featuring resources and real life tips by parents. I'm not a parent of a teen yet but I will be one day! I was reading her recent post on
Thirteen Things We Need to Teach Our Teens and a couple of them including
"How to cope with the end of a relationship or break up" and
"Signs that a friend or loved one may be suffering (from an addiction, depression, etal)" remind me of the challenges of teen parenting.
The newspapers and media have frequently reported on the rise of teenage problems and struggles in our urban pace of life. Yet, many parents are not engaging the right ways to help their teenage children, or worse still, have not been sensitive to the changing needs of their growing children. I stumble upon a parenting help site that contains lots of useful articles and resources to help parents with teens and Teen Help For Troubled Teens.

The website features teens health issues such as anorexia, healthy eating guide, teen depression, bulimia in teens, teen pregnancy, stress, to name a few. There are also articles related to teens education, useful teen parenting tips, teen behaviour and teen drug abuse. These help articles are written by experienced parents who have walked this journey of teens parenting and if you have any feedback, advice or tips to offer, you can feel free to drop your comments.

By so doing, they have greatly boosted their credibility by volunteering to operate as an open book as evidenced by the implementation of the Core Solutions system.
Core Solutions does not charge the families for this service, so why place your child at a facility that does not offer Core Solutions?
April 27th, 2007 at 5:35 amDoris – thanks for the mention, but my parenting site is http://www.wearyparent.com. Parent Hacks is another awesome site but I don’t write at it – I have contributed, but it’s not mine.
