Time for insurance renewal
One of the businesses that is common among work-at-home parents is the insurance profession. I know of a few friends who have become financial advisers or insurance agents since they became parents. This business allows many mums and dads to have the flexibility to be full-time parents, and still earn a living.
As a matter of fact, this is the time of the year where we renew our life insurance for our household. I was shocked when DH told me about Clayton’s insurance costs yesterday. But the plan also includes some unit trusts investment which acts as savings for the future. Usually, DH will take care of these things including home insurance and car insurance, making sure that the renewals are timely and the coverage is not lapsed. Somehow, driving on the road with car insurance makes me feel a little more secure… same for home insurance, it is always good to know the home is protected in case of any unexpected or unpleasant events.
