PayPerPost launches PPP Direct
PayPerPost has done another roll-out today with some new features added. PPP Tools which includes the new PayPerPost Direct allow advertisers to get in touch with the blogger and get a review for their products and services, a little like blog ads. Like some other paid blogging programs, the advertisers can come from outside the PPP network and the best part of it – no limitations on opportunities you can take, no stress on completing opps within reservation times and it’s just you and the advertisers working together.
Your first question will probably be what is the commission to PPP. Unlike Review Me that takes 50% of advertiser’s asking price, PPP is only taking 10% – not a bad deal for the blogger, since you get to keep 90% of earnings. You deserve it anyway cos you do most of the work
Blogger can then state and negotiate the price with the advertiser, a little like Sponsored Reviews where bloggers bid for opps. The upside of Review Me is a stronger marketplace compared to PPP Direct unless PPP looks into another feature that allow advertisers to find registered bloggers in the network. Sponsored Reviews’ bidding system was interesting though you tend to get more declinations from advertisers than acceptance, depending on your bid price and advertiser’s budget, that is. Infact, I is beginning to enjoy some offers from them and it is fun.
An interesting post was put up by Kumiko on PPP Direct which sparked comments by Head of software development at PayPerPost, Pete Wright and VC Dan, blogger, advertiser and investor of PayPerPost. It’s good to read opinions from both sides of the fence.
Anyways, I’m out for hire too at PPP Direct.

PPP Direct seems like a good idea but I can’t partcipate with my myspace blog at this time due to the restrictions of myspace. PPP should create alternate codes for most script codes that are not allowed on certain sites or platforms.
