There is some extended discussion on DO FOLLOW in the blogosphere. It is good to see that alot of bloggers are joining in the movement and giving some link love to visitors who leave comments in their blogs. I read that John Chow is also taking away the NO FOLLOW for anyone leaving a comment but for a fee of $10. That’s right, pay $10 and your comment gets a link love from the site.

I must admit that I do get some lame comments from bloggers who are seeking out free links as my blogs have installed the DO FOLLOW plug in. Some of these comments are just ‘copied and pasted’ from one blog to another, with no value added to my posts. Neither do they offer any value to my readers or posts.

Do you encounter this? What do you think of John Chow’s strategy?
