Is a home based biz for anyone?

I had a chat with a friend few days ago who was considering hard on starting a home based business. Alicia has been reading many work at home businesses and thought that might be a great start to spend more time with her kids.

As much as many women like to take this path of working from home, some (including Alicia) is struggling due to financial challenges in the home, especially for single moms. Apart from that, she has to ensure that her home loans is regularly paid, car loans and other commitments relating to parental support and her child’s education. I empathize with her situation and suggest that she should perhaps talk to a bank to settle some of these woes. For a start, there are online sites that provide some help with free financial calculators which assist on simple planning and analysis process.

I hope that Alicia can settle these personal problems first and eventually fulfill her wish to work from home.
