my personal thoughts on life coaching
After we shut out restaurant business in 2003, we were in a down state in our careers for a while. At that time, we attended a wealth dynamics weekend in Singapore and that seminar turned our lives around. Through that seminar, I went on to attend a life coaching workshop conducted by a master coach, who was also a certified trainer of Anthony Robbins' programs.
The life coaching workshop had helped to clarify my goals in life and work in ways that were new and enlightening for me. It caused me to start thinking about what I really want, what I like to do and helped to unleash my potential within. Being surrounded by a group of like-minded and positive coachees were encouraging as we inspired one another with our dreams and visions. For without a vision, we perish.
I had thought about being a life coach but somehow, plans changed and we ended up in the seminar business. In fact, we are now discussing with our master coach about conducting a workshop on 'Taking coaching to the workplace', targeting the corporate clients in our list. Personally, I believe everyone of us should take time to clarify our goals and find out what we really want in our lives in some point of our lives. This is crucial for our personal growth as we unleash our full potential during our existence on this earth.
