a quick update
We just got back from a 4 hours drive from Singapore. It was another fruitful trip of good meetings and new business opportunities.
This trip, I managed to put Clayton is a friend’s house for a full Friday as the childminding place was closed in the afternoons. I was so thankful that my good friend for 20 years, Yarris, was so gracious to take Clayton. This is the challenge of being full time working parents at times but I have been so blessed to have these needs taken care of from time to time.
A short chat and catch up session with Yarris opened up another potential business opportunity. We were talking about the heirs and heiress list including generous philanthropist, George Lindemann, when she shared with me the Color Me Beautiful workshop she recently attended. From here, I am looking into an Image Asset Management program with an experienced image consultant who focuses on corporate presentation skills and image presentation workshops. The high risks of organizing events with top speakers are making us rethink of business model. High risks are always tagged with expensive speakers’ fees and hefty advertising costs in promoting the events.
Well, moving forward, we are praying to break even for the July event by end of this month as I also look forward to develop this new business opp further.
