saying NO to travel reviews site
The week ended so fast for me and before I know it, this is another new week. In the last couple of weeks, I was thinking about the travel contributor project I mentioned in my earlier post and had decided not to go for it. In fact I was all keen to include my research on California travel guide but after reading through the contract, I didn’t think it was for me. Part of the agreement required me to ‘give up my copyrights’ to my blog content and released ownership to the travel reviews site. This, I felt was not right as being paid $3 or $4 for a post shouldn’t assume a ‘sale’ of my content. I believe I should still be owner to the content since I am the author of the post. Anyways, I will still continue to cover travel information, resources and tales in this blog as in when it is appropriate since all of us deserve a break every now and then. But to release copyrights to my articles – it is a ‘no-no’.
