keep your children safe on the internet

Even at a young age of three years old (coming), I am careful not to expose Clayton to violent shows even though some of these are screened in children's channels. I believe young children should not be left to watch shows with rude or harsh speech and any form of violent demonstration. I have had friends with teenage children and some of them have implemented a 'curfew' on internet use in the house. One of my friend (who was 27 years old at that time) was not allowed to use the internet after 10pm in the night. I asked him why and he said that his parents were worried about the temptations of porn and nudity sites he might be susceptible to.Well, I thought that didn't sound too right to educate a 27 year old guy but actually, it need not be so if his parents were to consider a parental control software in the house, since he has two more younger siblings. A tight control of limiting the use of the internet does not restrict the children to use it at other times to surf those adult websites. An internet filter software can also block violent websites and chat messages, filter nudity sites and assign daily time limits. By assigning filters and certain settings, you can have the peace of mind that they are being watched.
