different parental priorities
When it comes to weekends, DH and myself tend to have differing interests. I look forward to a nice lunch in a cosy cafe and do some window or serious shopping after. Also, I feel that it’s fair to take Clayton out since he’s spending alot of time at home and in school during the week. I get irritated if DH wants to rush over lunch and head back home. He would prefer to be in his home theater seating position or spend time in his internet marketing stuff. Because of this conflict in priority, we always end up in an argument. I always wonder why he can’t just make some sacrifice and treasure this family time together.
Does anyone face this problem as me too? Do you end with having differing interests with your hubby on the weekends?

The weekends should definitely be for the family. We usually have it arranged that we will not do anything computer-wise on the weekends.
However, I do pop on Saturday afternoons sometimes when the kids are napping and my husband is doing homework.
We do share the same issues as the two of you do.. we’ve had small battles over it as well.
Glad I’m not alone
