guerrilla marketing in the internet marketplace
It’s the same feeling every year after a successful and profitable event and it is good! I can now focus on some personal things and work on my blog a little bit more. During the one day session on Guerrilla Marketing with Jay, I have learnt few important concepts on this topic. And now, it’s about applying what I have learnt and putting on my thinking hat. In actual fact, the internet is one fantastic weapon for Guerrilla Marketers.
With the internet, you can market a product or service almost FREE of charge if you start to leverage on your resources and utilize some formidable weapons. If you have a product to market and promote, one of the ways to get people to talk about it without spending a single marketing dollar is through blogging. Offer free samples to bloggers and get them to review the products. You will be surprised how this easy method can be more effective than an ad campaign that may cost you a big advertising budget. The problem is alot of companies think they will suffer losses when they start to give away FREE products for reviews. Well, the question advertisers should answer to themselves is “How much does it really cost?”
Well, I just received a couple of nice make-up brushes in the mail yesterday. They were sent to me for review by an online cosmetic store. I wrote to the owners about making a purchase and she was business-savvy enough to ask if I would do a review in my shopping blog if she send a couple to me. And I said “YES”! See, it only costs her less than $15 (cost of products plus postage) when it may cost her $50 to have the brushes reviewed in my shopping blog. I think she is clever.
Anyone likes to send me some products to review? LOL.
