on banking issues
Now that our seminar is over, I can sit down and finish some of my online banking errands. It feels good that a big load has been lifted off my shoulders! I have been doing online banking since I moved to Kuala Lumpur and I am so thankful for the super internet technology that has made this possible. Online banking allows me to access my savings and current accounts as well as pay my credit card bills. With that, I can save on other bank charges and enjoy the flexibility and convenience of doing banking at the comforts of my home. Actually, there has been talk about consumers seeking to reclaim bank charges since online banking doesn’t require any service over the counter. Many banks are charging fees for statements, letters and other transactions and consumers have questioned the fairness and legalities of these issues. I believe banks should start addressing these matters in serious light in order to stay competitive and learn to listen to the concerns of their customers.
