how do you occupy busy toddlers?
One of the things I still struggle with in my home office career is to balance well between my office work, personal work, housework and parenting. I managed to convince DH to subscribe to Playhouse Disney channel as Clayton is getting bored with his collection of DVDs. He grew up with Baby Einstein educational series, Maisy and Kipper. But like any other 3 year old, his attention span is short. He still keeps himself busy with jigsaw puzzle, flash cards, vehicles, his scooter, motorbike, bicycle and blocks, but he’s always looking for something more and new. Sometimes, I feel guilty leaving Playhouse Disney on for too long while I do my work but it is so hard to keep that balance right.
How do you occupy your busy toddlers when there are so much waiting to get done? I love to hear your ideas.

I was once told, “When your toddler starts clamoring for more attention, stop whatever you’re doing for 5 to 10 minutes and overwhelm them.” Get down on the floor and tickle them, play hide and seek, chase them, and dance. Basically, wear them out. You’ll soon get, “Mommy stop it. I’m tired!” It’s worked great for me!
Sounds like a great tip!
