I had just received a confirmation from the cruise company on our Hawaii cruise coming up in December… DH and myself can’t wait to relax under the golden sun and enjoy the sea breeze, do some island hopping in Hilo, Maui, Kona, Kauai…and of course, get active with all the water activities at Waikiki. DH is already booking himself to a surf boarding class and as for me, I am all geared to check out all the boutiques and local stores for some great shopping!
Some friends ask why do I choose Hawaii for our family vacation. The answer is a simple: Hawaii is a beautiful island with lots to offer. The climate, the people, sights, attractions, natural beauty… etc. It is hard to pinpoint one thing. But the impression of Hawaii for most people would be the fun and the sun! We have decided to base ourselves in Oahu island and to be exact, at Waikiki beach. With Diamond head and the beach, I am waiting to capture another lovely sunset photo.

Don’t expect these villas to come cheap but if you have a big group traveling together, it can be affordable. For this 4 bedroom Diamond Head villa, it’s offering $2,450 a night and can sleep up to 10 guests. Not too bad if every couple pays about $600 a night
