tips to get energize you in the home office – part 1
Having a home office can sometimes leave you feeling stressed having to balance between work and personal life. There are days when you feel sluggish and listless in front of your computer, and you feel like your energy is running low and zapping you out. Here are some tips to keep you energized in your home office environment or in any workplace:
1) Watch your posture
Oxygen supply increases when you stand and sit correctly as it also helps to keep up the energy levels and prevent any strain injuries. Posture can affect our attitude and similarly, our attitude affects our posture too. So, keep your spine as straight as possible especially when you are feeling sluggish and tired.
2) Let there be light
Sunlight entering your eyes triggers production of natural feel-good chemicals. So step out of the home office during the day and enjoy some natural light. If possible, draw up the curtains and let the sun’s rays come through.
3) Get connected spiritually
Prayer, worship and meditation can help to put you in touch with the divine which in turn can provide your life with direction, hope and purpsoe. Learn to be thankful and grateful in good times and bad. This allows you to leave those energy draining baggages behind.
