Following up from my previous post on home camera, I read an interesting article on nanny cams, which is a totally new topic for me. What exactly are nanny cams and what are they for?
Nanny cams are not just specifically designed to be placed in children's rooms only. They can be placed into practically any room of the house. These cameras are deguised as things such as DVD players, table lamps, food containers, thermostats, pillows, clocks, radios, picture frams, etc. Every single room in the house can contain a nanny camera if that is what is needed. Make sure to check with local law enforcement agencies to make sure there are no restrictions on nanny cams or hidden cameras before installing them throughout your house. Remember, surveillance systems can be useful when catching someone in the act of committing a crime, misdeed, or simply a bad action.

Nanny cams are a great way for working Moms and Dads to gain some peace of mind when they have to leave the kids with a sitter. We have all seen the proof shown in the news where a nanny has been caught in some unthinkable abusive act toward children. In addition, many small businesses use nanny cams to monitor employees and exit and entrance ways. There have also been studies done that show capturing criminal activity on video increases the number of guilty verdicts when the jury is able to witness the crime first hand.
Any type of security camera or nanny cam is a great idea not only for peace of mind at home but for mitigation and reduction of criminal activity at the workplace.
A good way to protect yourself and your family!
