do you track on your kids?
I was never a tough teenage to handle though I have my own moments of rebellion and stubborness. My parents gave me lots of liberty as long as I stay within certain boundaries. Also, there was no internet nor mobile phones in those days so teenage years were less complicated and worrisome, compared to the urban life we live in today. It’s amazing to know that the internet chat rooms are made up predominantly of teens these days. I also noticed that alot of these teens are carrying nicer cell phones than the working adults!
I don’t think it will bother me that much if I haven’t been a parent but now that I am, I have to be on guard. There are lots of spy or tracking devices in the marketplace made available for parents to keep track of their children’s behaviour and social life. Personally, I believe most parents mean more good than harm. It’s hard to imagine that parents are spying on their children for wrong reasons. Teenage girls have different sets of challenges and temptations than teenage boys. Maybe one day, I would have to use this ‘Detect Now Home Spray Drug Test Kit for Cocaine‘ for my boy – I don’t know. With curious teenagers being influenced by media, peers and the society, more and more teenagers are getting their hands on drugs at a young age. With teen driving becoming common, parents are paying closer attention to teen’s social circle. For me, I would be devastated to know that my child is into drugs and as a parent, it’s my responsibility to educate him on the danger of drugs at a young age.
What about you? How do you track on your kids and what are your reasons for doing so?

I guess you really don’t know what you would do until your faced with the teenage issue. We don’t track our teen but when he began driving with us on his permit we got some magnets from rookiedriver.net to let everyone else know that he is new to the road, so they would not show as much road rage toward him. They worked well. If all parents used these our new drivers could learn to drive without the added stress of all other drivers getting angry at them everytime they drive a little slower or pause a little longer than an experienced driver. Check it out!
That sounds like a great idea – thanks!
