We are left with six weeks to plan for our family vacation. Come this December, we’ll be celebrating Christmas at our cousin’s place in Los Angeles. We have been discussing our itinerary on Skype and email and the excitement is building up! Clayton is looking forward to play with Jonathan’s Thomas and Friends train set and I’ll be visiting the outlets with the ladies. We are still wondering what we should get for this lovely family who so graciously invited us to their place to stay. DH and myself thought a bed and breakfast gift certificate will be nice since their anniversary is coming up too. With the gift certificate, they can take some time off and have a nice family vacation of their liking. I’m looking forward to Christmas!

All of us have different passions, interests and hobbies. When I was a kid, I enjoyed collecting stamps, paper dolls, little doll houses and girly miniatures. Then, I took interest in badge collecting when I started traveling. While studying in Perth, I would pick up every interesting badge I could find and store them in my little memorabilia box. What’s cool about the internet is that you can actually design your own custom badge and print it to your liking. This is a website with a tongue in cheek title called ‘Fat Statement’ which I can’t locate in the header except for the little tab on the top left. However, it has an interesting animated header showing how these buttons can be used and applied on your apparel. Personally, I think the title ‘Fat Statement’ should be incorporated on the header with a little more prominence.
