all set for oahu
DH just reminded me that we are only two months away to our first family trip to Hawaii. We are excited to set our feet on the sunny shores of Waikiki of whitesand beach and calm azure waters. While Waikiki is only but a small part of Oahu island, I have read so much about the beautiful beaches, rainforest and tropical farms. With our Oahu vacation rentals in place, we will settle ourselves for seven days at Waikiki beach before heading for our cruise.
I have read about the efficient public transport in Waikiki so that will save us some money on car rentals on the first few days. According to the Hawaii travel information, exploring the island with a rental car is a great idea for the family. Hopefully we have time to explore both the South and North shroes where beaches are long, wide and popular with local surfers. DH can’t wait to show off his surfing skills and he’s all set to sign up for an intensive course on the second day of our arrival.
