save time with document scanning service

We have been discussing about increasing productivity in the office. Somehow, DH and myself realized that we spent alot of our time digging for documents and files. These things can be distracting and they affect our work performance, disrupt work flow and create alot of unnecessary frustrations. On several occasions, DH would ruffle through his pile of papers and got upset that he couldn't find what he wanted. Days later, the document would be found stacked together with some other papers. To avoid these problems, we are looking into document acanning aervice to store our documents electronically. This means all our documents will be scanned and be archived in our computers which can be accessible anytime in an orderly fashion. There are many advantages to document scanning service:
1) It helps to keep things organized.
2) It saves us money on buying files and storage cabinets.
3) There is no more copying as we can email the electronic file to each other
4) It avoid any loss of documents
5) No more office mess or unfiled documents piled on the table
Adding on to the above, the amount of time saved to file and organize the documents can be transferred to more productive work in a given day. What do you think?
