All of us have different passions, interests and hobbies. When I was a kid, I enjoyed collecting stamps, paper dolls, little doll houses and girly miniatures. This is a website with a tongue in cheek title called ‘Fat Statement’ which I can’t locate in the header except for the little tab on the top left. However, it has an interesting animated header showing how these buttons can be used and applied on your apparel. Personally, I think the title ‘Fat Statement’ should be incorporated on the header with a little more prominence.
Apart from that, I like the DIY feature of this button badge website. You can actually upload your own image and scale it to fit the badge or dog tag, whichever you are planning to design. Add a symbol and your own text and that’s it, you are ready to purchase your button badge! I encourage you to try it out as the custom designing process is unique and creatively done. Simple, user-friendly and fast! The best thing is, it costs only $1.50 for a small or standard button and an affordable shipping price of $6 (from Sweden to US). You can add as many buttons as you like and the shipping stays the same! Plus, there is NO minimum order!! These badges or dog tags are made from stainless steel with a protective plastic mylar over the image.
As a user of the site, I would suggest to the site owner to add shipping information and a simple ‘about us’ page on the home page. Right now, these information can be found on the ‘More Info and Pictures’ link which is not very visible on the site. Users or consumers like to know more about the company and products before placing the order. It adds credibility and confidence to the site. But personally, I am glad that I have found a new gift idea! I can print custom badges of different images for keepsakes or give them as gifts to friends and family. What an interesting gift idea!
