Being a work-at-home mom means you need to be a good steward of your time which further requires you to balance your priorities well between work and parenting. With Clayton turning three, he likes to get me involved with his books, flash cards, intellectual games and drawing. Actually, I would love to do some art and craft with him when the holidays begin.
I'm one fussy parent when it comes to children's toys safety. At a vulnerable age, I don't expect a three year old to know the safety of modelling clay, plastics and other toys and neither should you! Many of the children's toys do contain lead which is toxic to the human body, especially little ones. So when shopping for children's arts and crafts materials, make sure there is no presence of lead and that the materials used are safe for your children. Exposing children to ceramic clays can help to encourage creativity and stimulate their development abilities. It is amazing to see that no two persons will sculpt the same design when presented with a slab of modeling clay. If you are searching for safe art and craft kits for yourself or your children, check out the website of American Art Clay Co by clicking on the links above.
