thankful for a break like this

I would believe that most of us who work from home are geared up for the coming Christmas and as far as work is concerned, it's a time to wind down. This month is dedicated to a family vacation and I am thankful to take a break like this.
With all the restaurants getting busy for the festive, I am already noticing the crowd on the streets of Waikiki. We had lunch in The Cheesecake Factory this afternoon and this family-friendly restaurant was packed with customers who were patiently waiting to on the bar stools before being ushered to their tables.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the portion of the meals - they seemed to be made for giants! DH ordered the 'monstrous burritos' and believe me, the burritos was almost a feet long! Anyways, if you are in Waikiki, this is one place to visit for good and affordable food with a friendly and casual ambience. Don't forget to save your tummy for a slice of yummy cheesecake!

I admire your ability to turn off during the holidays. I just wrote about my stressful holidays trying to keep working while everyone else is taking a break. I aspire to learn how to turn off.
Enjoy the holidays.
