working from home and multi-tasking
The weekends are here again – hooray! This whole week has been an eventful one as I have decided to start toilet training my boy on a serious note. I have promised my little boy to take him to an indoor gym if he does his poo in the potty and he did it on the first day! Since, there have been few accidents and I’ve got so much to learn in being a patient, calm and understanding mom.
With all that stress and worry about his success, I’m developing some back aches and tired shoulders. Working from home can be demanding when one has to juggle multiple tasks all the time. One minute I’ll be more the laptop and another, I’ll be on the floor fixing puzzles and reading Chinese flash cards. Rewarding; at times enjoyable but tiring. Maybe I should look into getting one of those adjustable beds with massage features to ease the tension on my back and improve my sleep. No matter what, working from home is still a blessing I am thankful for.
But nothing beats a good nap on a lazy weekend… I’m looking forward to it before another busy week of festivities.
