The schedule idea I've been trying for a few weeks with some success. It's tough, last week my daughter was sick with a moderate fever so I had her with me most of the week. It was wonderful - but it also blew any ideas of a solid schedule out the window.

What does seem to assist is leaving cushions of time on either end of the day that is flex time. When the day gets hectic that slush time allows me to still get things done.

I only work while they take a nap. And they sleep about four hours a day. So I get my three and a half hours or so of work done. And then the rest of the day it's clean up, and dinner time. But they get my full attention for 4 or five hours in the morning.
