balancing between work and home
Suddenly I felt abit swamped – phone calls, datelines, preparation for our upcoming event and boy, cracking my head about what’s on the table tonight! Some people think that I have alot of free time just because I work from home but well, tell me about it! Actually, having a home office means that you are more engaged in home affairs and work since it’s hard to separate both when it’s all done under one roof. What about you? Do you face this situation of overlapping work and personal duties while striking a balance in your home office?

Yes, I find that it is very hard to keep home affairs and work affairs separate. I have worked from home for the past year and a half since we moved to another state. It has it’s ups and downs. It’s pros and cons. I just got married and don’t have kids, but we just got 2 puppies and they are a handleful to take care of all day and work at the same time! But the major problem for me is feeling fulfilled with my work and missing the socialization with co-workers/family/friends. Do you have any tips on what I can do to subside my loneliness? I’m trying to get involved in the community, but it’s slow going. Any thoughts would be great!
