searching around for Sydney NYE accommodation
In the past one week, I have been searching in the web for Sydney accommodations over New Year’s Eve. I thought it might be a good idea to spend New Year with the magnificent fireworks at Harbour Bridge. But after searching around for a week, I’m not sure if I’m willing to spend $3K for a week’s accommodation as many of the properties are charging 3 times the usual rate for the few days over NYE. Tripadvisor’s forum has been a wonderful guide for me and it’s helpful to ask the locals for good advice and tips. You may think that it’s way too early to plan for NYE celebration but for a popular destination like Sydney, you will be surprised that you might be too late. A lot of the prime accommodations are already sold out. It’s unbelievable that people are willing to pay so much just for the occasion.
