This chinese new year, I decided to spend a bit more time with my family instead of keeping myself busy with visitation. I only managed to visit a close friend who has been working from home since last year.
It was nice to visit her home office and I noticed that she had a couple of cute Fig trees for the occasion. Having a home office has been her dream and I was so glad that she could realize this dream of hers. I believe that there are many mothers who like to work from home if given the opportunity. There is no lack of home based business these days. From multi-level marketing to data entry work to building an internet business from home, all you need to do is to find one that suits you and one that you are passionate about. While working from home is a nice thing, it may not be suitable for everyone. Talk to other work at home women and hear their experiences before making a decision to work from home.

It’s been a good break over this Chinese New Year as I get to spend time in my hometown. This opportunity is hard to come by since I usually end up in DH’s hometown year after year.
Meeting with good old friends is the best thing to do plus seeing how those kids enjoyed themselves in their own way. We ate so much that some of my friends were warning me about weight loss supplements and over indulgence! Personally, I believe it’s okay to enjoy good food with friends on occasions as long as you don’t neglect your regular health maintenance. Health supplements are necessary if you don’t eat a balanced diet and most of us don’t eat the right portions of vitamins and minerals! Even if you work from home, there is still certain amounts of stress so eating well is just as important.
So eat well and maintain your health with regular exercise and healthy food intake and you will be a happier home office woman.

In one year’s time, I will be busy scouting for moving services to help us in our moving needs to down under. I’m pretty sure there’ll be much to do and settle when the time comes. As much as I’m excited with the move, I dread to pack and throw things in the house… this is really part and parcel of migration.
What I really want is to continue working from home even though we are in another country. An online business or internet business makes it possible. In that sense, we can still have an online business wherever we are and whenever possible. The freedom of time is something that I won’t trade anything for. Looking forward, I will be doing my homework early and make smooth the move process in months’ to come.
