Family Time Ideas for Work at Home Parents
Taking the entire family out for an evening of fun can be exciting and something all work at home parents want to do on a regular basis. However, going out costs money and frequently it can cost more than the average family can afford. So, if you want to enjoy an evening with your family you have to think about where you can really enjoy some family bonding while saving money at the same time.
One of the things we enjoy as a family without spending too much money is to do a barbeque in the patio. We would buy meats and drinks during promotional days, turn on the Barbeque, put out some patio cushions and relax for a good family meal. Usually we spend the night playing board games or chatting over chips and juices. It is nice doing simple things like that.
Since all kids love to go to the park, this is one place to go without spending any money. Your kids will love playing on the monkey bars and merry go rounds and you as work at home parents will enjoy some family time and fresh air. Then, head to your local ice cream parlor and have a cone of your favorite flavor or buy a gallon of ice cream to enjoy at home.
