Internet in the Home Office
Saturday is here and I’m finding it hard to get some outstanding done in the home office as little junior is craving for attention. This is the beginning of the mid term holidays and we will be traveling a bit in the next two weeks.
So I thought I’ll take it easy today to finish some late work before going away as little junior gets his weekend computer time. The internet has revolutionized how kids learn and my six year old enjoys playing computer games. He started off with some educational games but slowly graduate to some disney games online. I realize the importance of setting boundaries for him so that he won’t become addicted to any of these. But as parents, we need to be vigilant since the internet world is not that safe for minors. With all the scams going around in social networking sites, we need to protect our kids from such crimes too. Even when it comes to buying anything, we must be careful about the site’s credibility and product authenticity. I was checking about the review on apidexin scam and realized the importance of educating oneself.
Opposed from common practices of placing the personal computer in the kid’s room, we prefer to put it in our home office so that we can be open about what each other is doing.
