Many people aren’t too familiar with the idea of having a virtual assistant for their home office businesses. Yet, having an assistant is an asset if it’s done properly and correctly. Before we move on, let me briefly explain what or who is a virtual assistant.
Basically, a virtual assistant is a self-employed business person who provides a certain level of administrative support to their clients. The clients may ask for a one time job, or a long term position. He or she may do secretarial duties, such as writing up letters and memos or contacting other business people for the client. Other duties a virtual assistant may cover are customer service, messaging services, email blasts or autoresponders, email support, fax paperwork, and many other duties. A virtual assistants duties really does vary drastically. For instance, if you have a website focusing on anti wrinkle treatments, you can ask the VA to submit some of your articles to some article directories or social networking sites.
If you are new to the idea of a virtual assistant, there’s no harm exploring for your home office business. You can easily go to elance.com to search for one or maybe you should check out fiverr.com for some ideas.

Buying domains and a hosting account are the first steps for any work at home mom entering the internet business. It just makes sense to invest in any sort of business – online or offline.
I’m searching for some domains to purchase with the current sale at GoDaddy. Save 30% for all .coms and this offer will expire on 11 July 2010. If you are still thinking about starting any site, it’s never too late to research in your chosen niche and buying a domain doesn’t cost much at all. Choosing a niche can be mind boggling and many internet marketers are choosing micro niches for their online business. For instance, starting an online store on interior furnishings can be a big niche but a micro niche such as door knobs will be more targeted.
I’m working on some new domains and my favourite keyword search tool is none other than Market Samurai. This, to me, is one online tool a work at home mom can’t do without if you want to profit in your internet home business. Click on the link or banner to find out more.
