Some think that there is no stress working in the home office but those who have working from home know that this is not true at all. We moms are especially stressed out when our children are not eating well or listening well to our instructions. And that spells stress!
I’ll be very busy with packing starting from today onwards. In fact, I’ve already started to do some but I know I need to speed up. First of all, I need to throw out the clutter and there’s lots to throw in this home office. After working at home for seven years, we’ve accumulated alot of things and it’s time to put them away. I can’t wait to get rid of my old table and chair which have been giving me some back problems. I’m already decided on an adjustable and chair for the new home office.
Hubby is outstationed and I’ll be busier. When he’s around, there’s someone to keep an eye on my boy when he’s alone upstairs but with hubby’s absence, I would be more tied down. My son’s birthday is coming up and I haven’t even sent out the invitations! With the amount of stress levels surmounting, I might need to find acne products that work! They say that pimples can be caused by stress!
It’s friday tomorrow and I’m actually looking forward to the weekends. Then again, weekends is a busy time as I need to play chauffeur to the boy for his music, gym and chess classes. It will be some time before I can take a break again – sigh!

It doesn’t mean that if you work at home, you don’t need to spend time and efforts to look good and presentable. Assuming you have a hubby who has a day job and he would love to come back to a presentable mommy.
My hubby is a work at home dad and yet, I like to look good when we both work in the home office. Some days, the supplier or courier man might drop by and I don’t like to look frumpy or sloppy. As a matter of fact, self image affects how you feel about yourself and it can affect your self confidence level. It doesn’t take alot to look good and all you need is a neat hairdo and a set of smart casual when you are in the home office. No, I don’t doll up. I just put on my neat casuals so that I can be prepared for any visitors to the house. Yes, I have heard of people working in their PJs but please don’t take that in the literal sense! If you have a problem with your face, get a mild acne treatment to clear it up. Basically you should respect yourself and your role as a work at home mom.
So if you haven’t been out for a haircut, it’s time to do so. Don’t let the overwhelming parenting and work at home schedule overtire you. Be nice to yourself.

A dear friend of mine found me on what’s app yesterday and we started chatting. We haven’t been in touch for a very long time so it’s good that technology has provided an opportunity for people to rekindle friendships.
She has been a stay at home mom for a few years and she doesn’t sound too pleased about it. I believe that many stay at home moms love to do something with their talents and skills while still being there for their children and fulfilling their responsibilities as mommies. But it can be tough juggling time and priorities though it has proven that this balance is possible. Many moms have jumped onto the internet business wagon and started niche blogs and sites that can bring them an allowance or regular income. Lately there are some popular topics in the internet arena and that includes diet pill comparisons to muscle building sites. Reviews and Comparison sites are popular because more people are searching online for information everyday.
If you are a stay at home mom who can’t find time to do anything else other than looking after the house and kids, take heart. You can soon maximize your skills and talents when your kids are more grown up or spending more time in school. With determination and the willingess to work hard, you will be able to find something that works well for you.
