Today, I’ll be spending some time to list down the things I need to do as I countdown to our official move in December. I am a very blessed work at home mom who have been enjoying the freedom of time and that allows me to do things I like.
My hubby is a disciplined person when it comes to work and his health. As a work at home dad, he wakes up early every morning and does his exercise and weight training. I wish I am as disciplined as he is in this area of fitness. Well, I may not need to search for the best diet pills that work but I know of many work at home moms who would. When you stay at home, you tend to confine yourself unless you make a point to do some outdoor activities. I used to head for my Pilates classes but had since stopped when my instructor went for her maternity leave.
So one of things I need to do is to get back to fitness as it only makes sense for a work at home mom to be healthy and not feeling lethargic or sick. This way, you will enjoy your parenting and work experiences more while you prepare yourself for busy days ahead.

Home office women are often busy with two things – parenting and work and if you have no kids or if your kids have grown up, it would be errands and work.
I just got back from my Asia vacations and finally settled back in the home office. There are lots to be done as we prepare for our move in two and half months time. I miss catching up with my close friends over in Singapore and only wish I have more time to spend at ‘home’. Though I’ve lived overseas for almost 11 years, I always like my home town and reckon it’s the best in Asia!
In a month’s time, I’ll be meeting a close friend who lives in Kota Kinabalu and she’s been busy tailoring prom dresses for her teengage daughter. We have come a long way and she too used to be a work at home mom who had a fashion design studio. I miss her dresses and tailoring!
With more time in the home office, I’m clearing some back log work and I would need to start packing up for the move.

I’m taking a break from our home office and visiting Hanoi for a few days. It’s going to be the last overseas trip before the big move in December.
Well, Hanoi isn’t like what many of my friends described. They called it a ‘shopping paradise’ but I didn’t think so. It’s just streets and streets of mass produced shoes, bags and other stuff and they are mostly copies or fakes. It took us a while to navigate among the busy streets of scooters, motor cars and people. It is certainly not a kids friendly place!
But I’m glad that we can have wifi access from our boutique hotel and as such I can get some work done and DH can check out his cheap auto insurance. It’s great to know that we can get work done even when we are away from the home office.
One more night here and in Halong Bay and then we are back to our home office and we’ll be back to the normal routine. And duties in the home office will resume.
