Just when I thought I could take a break from my computer and continue my packing for our trip to hanoi tomorrow, I have to finish some last minute assignments. This is what you do when you work from home… you hardly take a break – I mean a full break, that is.
Today, we just ordered our furniture direct from the factory and managed to save quite abit as we were told that furniture down under can be costly. We are glad to get a wholesale distributor contact from our good friend and with that savings, we can buy our electrical goods in Oz. In less than three months, we’ll have a new home office in Oz and I’m glad to have new home office furniture too. I’m looking at the ones at Kids2youth from taiwan as the ones at MOLL are too costly. There’s a big price difference between taiwan made products and Germany ones. I’m just happy that I can have my adjustable table and chair at last!
Then there’s the real packing to do when I return from hanoi. That’s the cool part about working at home – you can multi task and get things done fast and efficiently! That’s it for now and I’d better be off to doing my last minute research on Hanoi!

My work at home hubby was so excited that his mobile marketing campaign had brought him three successful clicks! Well, he’s been learning and exploring this internet business and he’s so thrilled to move forward when he saw the results. He strongly believes that mobile marketing is the future of ad campaigns.
He’s been real busy lately since he bought into a restaurant. Though he’s only one of the three partners, I could see his dedication and passion. He just loves implementing systems and running a restaurant! He had made it clear that he would only get involved with the start up and his other partner will run the restaurant. I often have to remind him that we won’t be here in less than three months’ time!!
We had just returned from a family trip to Hong Kong and I was so glad that my family had a great time with each other. Though I didn’t get to shop like my previous trips, the efforts to organize this trip was worth it as I got to travel with my mom for the first time. Overseas trip, I mean. The cousins were happy to see each other and I was pleased to see that they enjoyed each other’s company. I did some shopping at citygate outlets in Tung Chung and I was surprised to see that there was a store selling wintry stuff including snow boots!
As you can see, I haven’t been very busy in the home office lately due to my travel plans and will only settle down in the office by next week. Now I got to be packing for our short trip to Hanoi tomorrow….

It’s a super long weekend here and we are on a trip to Hong Kong currently. It feels nice to take a break for any work at home moms and this is shopping and eating trip for me. Apart from that, I am happy that I can take a short trip with my mom and brother’s family.
We are due to be home today and I have much to catch up on at home. There are a few things I need to work on as we have just sold the house last week. I told hubby that we need to get a new coat of paint for the backyard and I need to shop for Duramax Garden Sheds for the new owner too. I haven’t been that productive these few weeks in the home office and it’s no wonder why. I have been in and out of the home office and there are so many errands to run and complete.
Hopefully things calm down a little by the end of this month and I can focus more on my work and life can resume as a work at home mom for me soon.
