Finally, school has started and I’m glad my little junior is waking up with a smile this morning. It was tough talking him into school yesterday morning and I think he must have had butterflies in the stomach when he had the thought of meeting new teacher and friends. So we managed to clean up the home office and packed some of our stuff so that we can start to work from home soon.

Finally, after weeks of waiting and longing, the shipment has arrived at our doorstep two days ago and we can get ready for our new home office in down under. The amount of load from the container was more than we expected and we knew that it would take at least a week for us to completely settle down.

The first thing hubby did was to set up our computers in the home office once all the furniture were assembled. It was also timing that our internet modem came and we could get connected in our new office set up. Though we don’t have a big home office, it is nice to have one that has a large window though I was envious about a parkland view from the house we viewed last weekend. I like open spaces and I often feel that I think better when I look out to a serene view of trees or ocean. That will be the ideal and dreamed home office someday.

Since arriving in Brisbane, hubby has been diligent in his walks and runs in the park every morning. He’s the discipline sort and will wake up early to get his dose of exercise. It helps him start the day well and he thinks better too when he’s refreshed.
