Back to the Home Office
My son has started school for two weeks and I’ve been busy settling down and getting myself familiar with the school’s programs, activities and systems. The home office is looking good and we need to get a few shelving units to organize all our stationery and files.
Weekends is what I look forward it. I like to go to the park and take a swim in the warm waters. Last weekend, we spent our Saturday afternoons at the beach and the sun’s heat was so intense! School is getting more fun for my son and I’m glad he’s like it. At the age of six, they are already taught to save files in their usb drives and they need to learn about presentations too. My son is new to public speaking so hopefully the training at school will help him to be more eloquent in his presentation skills. He lacks the boldness at this stage and it’s good to learn these skills when young.
As for me, I’m pretty happy with this home office and it’s nice to look out in the windows when I’m tired. Looking into the bushlands and parklands will be nice when you work at home. It gives one a sense of serenity when you have had too much of the computer screen. Hopefully we can have a new house with a home office that gives me the views I want and desire. In Australia, it’s common for people to work from home as many parents need to fetch their kids to and from school. Besides it offers flexibility and freedom of time compared to many other professions.
